gzilla45
Since I can't choose let him stand up, I think I'm going to go the top green. It should be a pretty easy shot from this close through the neck. Either way, I would turn him into all veni sausage. My supply just ran out and I'm starting to crave it already. Strut10
Any of the lower 3 reds or yellows and lower the boom. He won't move.
fly
Anything in the blue scares me. You afraid of field dressing or the haul in?
redkneck
He's not a shooter, but I'd go with blue 3. If I had my bow, I'd prob throw a stick at him to take a running shot though.:flex::jaw::clown:

Tom2008
You dont' shoot any animal while its lying down. Just my .02 cents. I've never seen anyone do it before. Strong part of my ethics. 2nd from bottom yellow I guess since I have to pick. Edited June 25, 2009 by Tom2008

Strong part of my ethics. 2nd from bottom yellow I guess since I have to pick. Interesting point. Is that because you don't consider it fair chase, or because you don't think it's a good shot to take? My opinion is that with a bow you should never take a shot at an unwounded bedded animal because of the difficulty of hitting the vitals. With a firearm and a good rest I don't think the shot is risky at all.

Dawg
Not at that angle. Depends, if your 15 ft up a tree or in a tower blind no, but if on the ground, yes it would.
backwoods07
Middle blue dot. I wouldn't touch red or green for fear of pokin a hole in my cape!

dbHunterNY
He's not a monster although pretty darn good. I will say that those are all horrible dots. I've shot a buck three times that distance in the head (he was looking right at me so his head wasn't going anywhere). So I ask where are the dots on the head??? lol Not much meat there to get shot up and you save the heart.
dbHunterNY
Sorry, he needs two more years In an idea world. However, if I passed on that buck where I hunt I'd have 10 people telling me to go lay down a minute and then ask which way he was headed. That's only 10, because 10 people would be there throughout the day hunting.

m gardner
No shot with a bow. Red two with my rifle. I think he's an older deer. That ear's been ripped for awhile and his skin looks baggy. Antlers never amounted to much though. Can't eat the antlers. Mark
