High Country Posted June 26, 2009 Report Share Posted June 26, 2009 Live in Georgetown...frequently hunt in south-eastern Kentucky (Letcher and Knott Cos) or on WMAs in central KY (Kleber, KY River, Taylorsville, Ft Knox). NC Craig Posted June 26, 2009 Report Share Posted June 26, 2009 I live in NC now, but spent 30 plus years hunting in KY. I took a 150 class 14 point & a 150 class 9 pt. Those are my largest, but took plenty of others as well. The Peabody wildlife management area is a great place to hunt. If you get back off the roads, you can have a nice spot all to yourself. HUNTINGMAN Posted June 28, 2009 Report Share Posted June 28, 2009 I live in harrodsburg KY now but hunt in casey county.There is some exceptional hunting to be found in our state.Some realy big deer come frome here every year,I dont know to many spots for I have been hunting the same farm for about 22 years now and have never hunted anywhere other than this farm in the last 22 years..I have thought about trying some public land spots just to see some new ground.
