Brad6639
I was wondering if anyone has any experiance with their products, Im, considering shelling out the money for one because they appear to be a very good durable pack, but I always like to ask first. The one Im looking at is the Ultra day I believe. It could have been the Super day though, it was a fairly small one.
RangerClay
Hi Brad, I have the Diablo model. I received it as a Christmas present. I tried it a little during turkey season and it was ok, but I really won't put it to the test till deer season. I'm going to make this my archery pack. PM me in December and I will give you a full review.
wtnhunt
Needed a new pack to replace the old worn out wal mart pack I had been using for carrying my camera and other stuff early seasons. Cannot speak for the badlands packs, I did a bit of checking around and ended up buying this one http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0010074514998a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH_all&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&Ntt=scout+pack&Ntk=Products&sort=all&_D%3AhasJS=+&N=0&_D%3Asort=+&Nty=1&hasJS=true&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fsearch%2Fsearch-box.jsp.form1&_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1 in the large model. Have not used it in the field yet, but it does seem to be very well made, think I am going to like it.
OUTSIDER
I have the Badlands Super Day Pack, It is really nice for whitetail hunting here in West Virginia, can take extra clothes for after i hike in, keeps all my calls, knives, license, gps, radio, phone, etc organized and easy to get too. The only dislike (i use the word dislike very loosley) is the pockets on the hip pockets are sometimes cumbersom to get open when you have the pack on, it seems like the zipping direction should have been reversed when they designed it, but that is my only complaint. I use it to backpack in the Mon. National Forest, has enough space (if your clever) to support me for 3 days with all food, tent, sleeping bag, pad, jetboil, H2O purifer, etc. Have loaded mine down with 70 pounds of stuff to see if it would handle it, and it did, have strapped a 50 pound mineral block to it to hike in to one ofmy stands, but because it has no internal frame, i would not advise doing stuff like that. But all in all its a wonderful pack, and their warrenty is the best in the business. And the kevlar stitching is wicked durable.
