heres a good example of aiming low on a buck that knows something is wrong just watch how far his back drops, some shots would just go right over the back..

you CAN'T aim low just to anticipate a deer ducking your arrrow this to me is very bad situation if you think u know the deer is spooked you can't do this because if you think hes gonna duck your saying your baiscally guessing on where he is going to be?? to me this is an unethical shot? and if you feel the the deer will duck then you shouldn't shoot,, what happens when you aim low and the deer doesn't duck and you hit him low?? to low to hit any of the vitals,,, never guess where the deer is going to be

I don't see it as unethical at all. If the deer ducks your gonna smoke the lungs.....if he doesn't, your on track for a heart shot or a miss low. How is this unethical???? I think it is very ethical, and I know alot of hunters ( many in here ) that practice shooting this very same way.
