Dakota
While ideally I would like to have a closer shot, my 40 yard pin is going on the 2nd yellow from the top and I'm watching my Beman ICS Bowhunter 400 with Easton Tracer hammer home with either Muzzy MX-3 or the Rage 2 blade. goodnottygy
You've been looking for this big joker all year saving a tag just for him. It's down to the last evening and he finally steps out at 42 yards without a drop of wind..............Do you eat tag soup? 3 yellow dot from the top...even if he jumps the string, he is yours! Bowtech_archer07
My 40 yard pin would be set on that deer in the middle of the square made up by the second and third red and yellow dots. Whether or not I release my arrow would all depend on how I felt about the shot at that very point in time. Same here. If I was steady enough and felt comfortable with the shot, an arrow is getting slung in his direction. I'm very comfortable shooting at 40 yards, and as long as I knew the exact distance, my Bowtech is getting drawn and the pin being put on him. Like wtnhunt said though, it would all depend on how I felt at that exact point.
johnf
I'm with buckee on this one. Between yellow 1&2 is a great heart shot and if he jumps the string you're still in the lungs.
