hutchies
Your in your groundblind, lights fading fast, and it's cold.........chance of snow on the way. He comes across the field chasing a doe and catches wind of your Tinks scentbomb locking up in his tracks at 33 yards. Does he get a pass or a ticket to the dirtnap? Dawg
Ticket to a dirt nap.............in between second and third blue from the bottom.
wtnhunt
Probably passing this one, hoping he will give me a little better angle. Just don't see any dots I would shoot there with bow. If I was to take a shot it would be just off the back of the third blue dot.

Gotta go with William here, bad angle, may only catch one lung
ruttinbuc
I'd pass, too! One of the first things i was taught on hunter ed a long time ago. NEVER shoot an arrow at an animal that is looking at you! I have proved that lesson right on 2 occasions. Both ended up bad.
fly
Blue 3, late season only. Early on I'm waiting fort something bigger.
rhine16
I'm going between the 2nd and 3rd from the bottom(figuring for a slight duck since he is on alert and at 33 yards).
The_Kat
Easy shot....blue 3, he will look good on the wall.
PotashRLS
3 Yellow gives the best angle for a double lung, but the ball and socket is right there. Not good........especially at 33 yards. Let him make a move and reevaluate the situation then.

ruttinbuc
I never miss on my puter mike :clown: Me either, Kyle! Believe it or not, I had encountered every one of those scenarios over the years. Some twice! Trust me when I say it can be humbling.... :surrender:
elkoholic
Middle yellow dot. I have had no trouble shooting through the shoulder blades on deer. The deer is not looking directly at me and is in the curious mode. Yep, killing deer on the computer is easy.
dbHunterNY
Gotta go with William here, bad angle, may only catch one lung Yea I'd worry about hitting bone more than anything, resulting in poor penetration. I don't care how nasty your bow is you're not putting an arrow through it's leg bone. At least I haven't seen it done yet.
NS whitetail
middle blue.
backwoods07
With snow on the way, there's no shot I would feel 100%confident taking with a bow. The only fatal shot I see is right behind the blue column, and that has guts written all over it. The snow might hinder your chances at recovery if he's left to sit over night. Easy to say I would pass on him from right here in my recliner, but an arrow probably would take flight if I was out there. Adrenalin and ambition tends to cloud judgement sometimes. Not to mention I see one or two shooters a year......
Tominator
Pass. Quartering to too much for me.
tedicast
I'm at full draw, and waiting for him to get a little less quartering too. If he doesn't, he walks. I honestly pass these shots in real life too. I've learned from my mistakes.
sskybnd
3rd yellow, 33 yards, 70lbs, 100 grain bone crushing muzzy, might not get a pass threw but think i would have enough penatration to bouble lung him
buckee
Dirtnap...3rd yellow from the bottom looks deadly, but since I have a 30 yard pin, and he's at 33, I'd go a tad higher Edited June 27, 2009 by buckee
camoman1
Gotta wait for a better angle..good chance hes all tensed up and ready to spring at the sound of the bowstring
snapper
I'm going.... Between 2nd yellow and blue dots from the top...he's not looking at me...so he's not on to me. If my arrow hits true...its at least one lung and liver...he's done!
ILAntlrAddct
The angle is not too severe for a missed shot opportunity. You catch one lung and a pass through, thats a dead deer. Id be smoking him, Blue #3 from the top Edited June 27, 2009 by ILAntlrAddct
redkneck
If I had to make the shot, blue 3.5 But....I'm waiting till i have a better angle.
