hutchies
It's time to put some meat in the freezer and some backstraps on the grill. Here's your chance at 20 yards on the money with not a drop of wind............Can you leave the little one's without mommy or do you let her walk? wtnhunt
Those fawns are plenty big enough to make it. Depends on where I am hunting, here in the backyard she walks. Randy's place in Wisconsin, she is as well as in the cooler and on the way headed back to Tennessee to help fill the freezer. Next to the bottom green dot, right in line with the offside leg. PotashRLS
2-3 green when she turns her head to look the other way. As perfect a shot as you will get in the field.
The_Kat
another 2 3 green
elkoholic
Let her walk. With the fawn survival rate in this area being what it is and the deer population not that high, I do not need to shoot a skinny doe to fill the freezer. It is a known fact the fawn survival rate goes down when abandoned in their first year of life. An doe without a fawn on the other hand, next to bottom green. dbHunterNY
Second row of dots from the bottom between green and purple. The fawn will have to be on it's own eventually.

snapper
I would pass on this shot because she and her fawn know something is up...she is alert and looking right at me...her fawn's ears are back listening to me....everyone is about to abort the mission! redkneck
Green 3. Gr 2 is just a high shot to me from ground level. I've had to learn that lesson a time or two over the years Got to keep the shot low when shooting from the ground. Glad Chris finally got a shot!
