Strut10
Started to make som headway with my disking project, today. Went over and borrowed a little 8-foot 3-point disk from a buddy. Our transport disk is nice.....it just doesn't fit some places. Went over both the plot field and the powerline plot one time with the gangs angled out to cut real hard. Still had some pretty soft conditions. So I'm letting it dry until this evening and will go over it all again to bust stuff up more and level things out. Depending on how daylight holds out, I may seed tonight. Dunno.
jared264mag
Sounds good. We tried this thing called a plot master a couple years ago and didn't work so well. Last Year we disced and seeded with a corn feeder that goes on our ATV's. Built us a little drag out of some chain link fence and a few pieces of pipe and a some T Iron and it worked out GREAT.. Can I as what your planting?
Strut10
Just got in from finishing up......all but the seeding, that is. Got it all disked and got the fertilizer turned in, too. Will probably spin the seed on tomorrow. Can I ask what your planting? Little bit of everything, really. I got a bag of Biologic Green Patch Plus, a sack of brassica seed and a sack of chickory seed. A veritable smorgasboard, I reckon.
Strut10
Annnnnnnd..................done!!!! Saw there was a rain system coming in about an hour. So me & Lil Strut10 went over and spun the seed on. Now we (and the deer) wait.
