Almost looks like you have a mineral lick there for them. Ahem... I can answer that. We have a bird feeder set up over the trail cam. Squirrels and coons are always tipping and spilling the feeder, so we capitalize on the spill and set the cam up there. There is not a heck of a lot of woods so the critters stick around. Come fall, no more seed in the feeder. For the record...Feeding deer is illegal in NYS, so are mineral licks due the possible spread of CWD. We are feeding birds and it is ONLY bird seed;).
