Pretty certain this is the same buck we have been following along here http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87152. Not going to be as wide as I had hoped, will probably 16 to 16.5 inches wide, but with at least a month and a half left of growing looks like he will have some pretty good tine length. May not be a monster to some of our Ohio or Illinois members,;) but this is a really good deer for this area and for the backyard here. Looks like passing up all those deer last year may just pay off this year.

Had been getting a few pics of this other buck(the one walking away) and thought it was a different deer, we know now for sure it is. He is just about as wide, but not as far along on length, may be another one to keep an eye on.

Couple pics from a couple weeks ago, looks wider in these pics to me.

Ain't no big deer in Ohio. Who told you that?

:D

I think the one walking away will be a better deer than the other one. Hard to say, but he looks wider and heavier.

Looks like you've been getting rain up there too.

Not really Al. May was wet, but been pretty dry here since, we were well behind the averages for rainfall in June.

LOL. Yep, I forgot that you shot the last big deer in Ohio last fall.

If the deer in the close up is the same deer we have been getting pics of/following along, he is wider than the one walking away bud. ;) That pic is not really a good angle to show the spread on the deer, however it does show the other deer pretty well. If you get bored, take a look at the link, and follow from back in May.

Here, I will make it easy for you.:p
