Leo
Thanks all for your prayers about my surgery. I feel SO MUCH BETTER!!! Here's some more guitar pictures. This guitar is practically impervious to humidity and temp changes. Perfect for around here. Leave a guitar in a hot car here and it will POP! I'm real happy with this guitar and plan to post a clip of me playing it soon. I found it used but you can't tell it has been.
Shaun_300
That's a nice looking guitar Leo! I haven't played mine in a while, I should get it out and tune it up and do a little playing some night.

hammerforged
Great looking guitar Leo, what is the construction?
Leo
Great looking guitar Leo, what is the construction? This guitar is handmade in Lafayette Louisiana, by Composite Acoustics. The body and neck are 100% Carbon Composite. In the past I'd sneered at guitars with composites in them because many of them sounded like cereal boxes with fishing line on them. Ok some of them sound a lot better now and honestly, they were good tough guitars even if they didn't sound all that great. This one they got the sound right on! And it's guaranteed to stay that way. My Cortez (a martin copy) has seen it's last trip. It just isn't gonna take much more travel, it needs to retire and stay home. Like I said I got a great deal on this guitar used and I'm real happy I got it. Here is CAs site. I got the GXI if you click [sound Clip] you'll get a good idea what this thing sounds like. http://www.caguitars.com/Files/Product/Guitars_331/GXi_119.asp

I'm confident this would be a perfect guitar in Alaska. I actually got out the house on my own some today. It felt good. Mary says "Hi!" BTW. Leo
the heck with the guitar. i'm happy to see you doing well, leo. that's what's important. btw. nice guitar. Well the thing closest to my mind right now is surprise my nose! The guitar has been a good and necessary distraction from it. I have found that healing is easier when you don't think about it. Thanks for your concern, it has been getting much easier. Made a little test video. Did a little to clear up the sound from the video camera. I'm not playing perfect I know but this guitar does sound good to me. Right now it's a welcome distraction. http://s431.photobucket.com/albums/qq36/realtree2008/Leo/?action=view¤t=blackguitarsound.flv BTW, they took one of these out of each nostril. They are about the size of a large Florida orange slice. Edited July 1, 2009 by Leo
