Tim Andrus
Ive said it before its a tough job being on the road...I do it a on much smaller schedule than say Waddell. And Ive seen his schedule and been with him on the road its fun but can be grueling especiall when theres flight delays. I cant remember when Ive had a perfect flight schedule these days ...between weather and everything else.. my 2 cents....................... racksandfeathers
it just depends how much you love the sport. Myself its a dream and if you want it go get it. There are thousands of ways to go about it. I have started as an outfitter and hope to evolve from that. Here is my first home video tell me what you guys think its about ten mins long but some awesome looking bucks on it. I hope to get this video in micheals had at the buck expo in lakeland fl. this month. How do you guys think i should do this just scream and jump kinda like AIR BLANTON in the old monster bucks video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBhybT92qWs

texastrophies
I don't think you could pay me enough to do what the professional hunters do. With a son in HS, being gone all that time would mean all the football games, most of the basketball & baseball games would be missed. NO THANK YOU. I will take my 6 day a week job with the ability to go to all of my son's games. I don't need or want the fame, I am content where I am in life. I really enjoy hunting, and enjoy being with my son while he is hunting even more, but to do what they do wouldn't work for me.
fly
I don't know this as a fact, but would think that Michael, David, Bill, the Drury Brothers, and a few others that are the most famous probably get to pick the hunts they want (when and where) at this point. I doubt they are hurting finacially and missing a hunt because of a family event wouldn't be out of the question. However, it most likely took many years of missing those events to get to where they are. Seems to me that it can take decades of hard work and sacrifice. After being on the forums for over a year now I know Tim has had some pretty hectic schedules. Never heard him complain about it though. Tim, I wish you a speedy rise to power!:robot: (See the smile guy is rising to be a powerful robot) I've been waiting for the right situation to use that one.
