Rhino
You're at Steve B's Wyoming antelope hunt. You're in a ground blind by a water hole with Chris (Tominator) sitting on your right side as your Forum member non-hunting buddy (left side for left handed shooters...you just might need your free hand) . (Also...Chris in your response as the hunter, substitute Tom or me...heck both if you want as your good ol RT non-hunting buddy.) This speed goat with his harem of skin heads comes in from your left (right for left handed shooters). The harem of skin heads goes to the water while this speed goat stops at 20 yards and just stands there looking over his harem while they drink. Chris starts whispering in your ear "Bust Him!...(short pause)...Bust Him!...Bust Him!" You raise your bow and get ready to draw when Chris says "I don't know if I'd shoot that skipper". In this brief state of confusion you lower your bow and look over at Chris who's wearing that grin on his face. Chris starts again "Bust Him!...on & on again. When you raise your bow again, there goes Chris again with the "I don't know if I'd shoot that skipper" junk. You now know for sure Chris is messing with your head. :hammer1: The speed goat's still frozen there looking over his harem drinking at the water hole. You have 2 issues to deal with...the goat and Chris. Which one comes 1st? Do you smoke the goat and where? How do you deliver some payback to Chris right there in the blind? This should be entertaining!
wtnhunt
I tune Chris out(have had just a little practice tuning out chatter), and take the shot. I am aiming right smack dab between the third yellow and red from the top. After watching my goat go down in sight, I reply to my buddy Chris, your turn. While we watch on Chris' turn, me with a video camera, I proceed to harass him the entire time we watch waiting for a "non skipper".:shifty:
Dakota
Red 2 from the top is drilled and Chris gets a big ol' smack with the hat and maybe a sloppy wet one on the cheek depending on how big the buck turns out to be! :D:D ...and yes I have my man card! Rhino
Just for the record, I'd have to deal with Chris 1st. :bat: With my free hand I'd grab my trusty ol powder wind checker. In a bold, swift move I'd turn in upside down and with a quick squeeze empty the contents into his face giving him that Casper the friendly ghost look. Then I'd lay the smackdown on the goat (red 2 from the bottom) and grab the video camera to make sure I documented the payback to Chris. ildrhntr
First I don't think I would shoot that antelope. He doesn't look big enough to me. Second Chris might find a suprise in his sleeping bag come bed time. Hope he isn't too afraid of snakes..........I always have a rubber one wiht me for those people who need paid back....... HunterLuke
That 2nd red one up from the bottom sure looks nice.
Ohiobucks
I tune Chris out... Easier done than said..... :D I'd aim for in between red and yellow dots second from the bottom, then miss on purpose (like Chris does, you know, give a warning shot). Hope and pray he comes back, and then whack him in the pumper with my second shot. I might high five Chris after all that and let him drag it out for me. :drink:

Dakota Ok I changed my mind....you can't share a room with me in Wyoming. :D A lil creepy there Kota Red 2 for me as well though, and I'd let a big old stinky fart go in the blind right as I released the arrow :bat:

Dakota
First I don't think I would shoot that antelope. He doesn't look big enough to me. Yeah, I agree. He does look a little skinny up top. Don't know if he would quite make P&Y. Dakota

Dakota Sorry...best I could find for a closeup looking gimme type shot with that slightly quartering away angle that wasn't looking at the cameraman. Ethan Givan
Well from the picture's view the animal looks slightly higher than the shooters position so I would shoot for the 2nd red dot from the bottom.
redkneck
I like red 3, though i dont know a lot about a goat's anatomy. As for Chris, I'd break wind after the shot and that would clear the blind and leave him with a bad taste in his mouth for hunting ground blinds with me. Randy
I'd probably pass the shot and just whoop Chris's butt right in the blind for having such a big mouth!!! :chair: :crutch:
hutchies
I would move over to get position for the shot with my back arm right in front of Chris..............I would pull hard thru the release while aiming at red 3 and as it went off the point of my elbow would centerpunch Chris right in the sternum knocking the air out of him and deflating the Pronghorn at the same time. buckee
Well, I know there are bigger Goats out there, because I've seen them, so I'd pretend to go for the goat, but while at full draw, I'd sneak my foot over behind the leg of Bart's stool, and pull hard. :) Then I'd shoot and miss on purpose and blame him for making all the racket falling over. :)
Tominator
I'm at a loss for words. lol--funny I could honestly see Tom and I screwing with each other like that. If Tom were shooting, I'd wait for the goat to turn and then I'd say "OK, there's his *ss, your favorite shot, take it, TAKE IT!"
The_Kat
You sure have a way with words Chris.....
Dawg
Red 2 from the bottom. Hopefully the good ole jalepeno chilli cheese hot dogs from the night before would be bitin' back and I would let out a gas bomb.

backwoods07
I'd probably pass the shot and just whoop Chris's butt right in the blind for having such a big mouth!!! :chair: :crutch: hahaha...There isn't a hunter in here that can't picture themselves doin that to a huntin buddy! sskybnd
my thoughts would be like hutchies, if he wasnt big enough to make the book, id draw and have one of them release malfuntions that causes your arm to travel backwards and accidentialy bop him
dbHunterNY
I'd point far off to the side and say "huge buck!" Then when he leaned foward off his stool to look I'd pull it away. I'd then move him away with my hand and saying "I'm getting ready". After he went to sit down and fell on his butt, I'd shoot the buck and say he must have scared the bigger one off, but this one stayed. I'd aim between red and yellow a 1/3 of the way up. I've never shot one before. It'd bother him a long time wondering how big the monster 'lope was (that wasn't really there).
