Hibachi Recipe - quick and easy

Recommended Posts

Ok this recipe I did my own way because I didnt see the need in messing up two skillets.

1 lb of meatin one inch cubes (chicken, pork, beef, deer, elk, etc) I used pork for this one.

put 1/8 cup of vegetable oil in bottom of skillet on medium high heat

add meat

salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp of butter

1 tbsp of soy sauce (I added a little more)

cook till you are sure that the bottom side is done then flip meat over and cook

when meat is done move over to one side of the pan, add a little more oil

add 1 onion chopped or sliced

2 zucchinis sliced

fresh mushrooms sliced (not the ones in the can because they have a funky flavor)

you can add what other vegetables you want but this was what I had

1 tbsp of butter

1 tbsp of soy sauce (again I added a bit more)

salt and pepper to taste

cook till you are sure that the bottom side is done then flip veggies over and cook

I then placed a lid over the concoction after I mixed everything together to help the veggies soften. This will probably take you about 8 to 12 minutes with a regular zucchini but I had a zucchini that was on steriods and broke two knifes cutting into it so it took me a bit longer.

You can serve the hibachi over fried rice but I was too lazy and just ate it like it was. It was really good for a quick fixer upper.
