Leo
The governorship of Alaska was not a strong enough position for the last election. It should have been but it wasn't and reality says it won't be. I don't know for sure if strengthening her position as a future candidate is what she is up to but I will venture to say she can be a much bigger thorn in the side of the current administration now than as an incumbent governor. The relentless and unprecedented bashing she received after the election may certainly motivate her to seek revenge. I know I would. I don't even begin to think this is the last we've heard of Sarah Palin!
wtnhunt
I don't even begin to think this is the last we've heard of Sarah Palin! Nope, don't think so either. Palin also has the potential to earn much more money outside the governor's office. Reports say she spent close to $500,000 in legal fees fighting complaints. Strut10
Probably a good move on her part. I just hope that it's not being done as a preparation for another run in 2012. I like Sarah. But she's political suicide for the Republican party if run on a presidential ticket.
JJL
Here's a quote from Breitbart.com: Palin said she planned to make a "positive change outside government," without elaborating. She also expressed frustration with her current role as governor. "I cannot stand here as your governor and allow the millions of dollars and all that time go to waste just so I can hold the title of governor," Palin said. Somethings rotten.........................I smell a rat.
