NS whitetail
Yesterday was the first full sunny day that we have had here for weeks. It has either rained or been overcast with a few showers every day. The weatherman is forcasting nothing but sun for all this week finally. wtnhunt
We had rain here on Saturday, heavy rain with large drops and high winds. Had a little shower yesterday too. First measureable amount of rain we had in probably a month, June was very dry here. We needed the rain, but it caused some damage in our garden. Rhino
Yep...thank goodness we finally got some here too. I just managed to get 5 trail cams out (4 on mineral licks) before the rain came in. Should have some activity on the licks now that there's some moisture in the ground. All our food plots I checked yesterday had dead vegetation in them. Good thing we didn't spend a lot of money on summer food plots this year. Doe-ee
Steve was praying for rain so he could finally have a day off. Well he got it! Nice thunder storm last night. Trouble is I got up this morning and the fish pond was overflowing. The fish were about to swim over the edge, so I drained some water. Then I noticed that a potted water plant had fallen to the bottom of the pond. I reached in to get it and somehow broke off a piece of the side of the pot and found myself shoulder deep in the pond. Not my idea of an early morning swim.LOL It was refreshing though.
