David_218
The CZ M-452 "American Classic" is a very fine rifle for a .22 Rimfire. I bought one a few years ago and paid $350 for it new. Due to the devaluation of the US Dollar I've noticed they've gone up $100 more to around $450.
AJ
Re: CZ VARMINT .22 RIFLES I did look at the CZ rimfire gun very closely. I would have bought it other than the dealer did not carry the 10 round magazines. If he would have had the magazines, it would have gone home with me. As to the accuracy level of this gun, I don't know. I do have a CZ 527 American in .222 Rem that shoots good enough to make me buy another CZ. What level of accuracy do you expect or what distance are you planning to use the gun?
AJ
Re: CZ VARMINT .22 RIFLES With some practice and some good standard velocity target ammo you can use the .22 lr out to 100 yards on small varmints. Past 100 yards, you need to step up to a centerfire or the .17 caliber rimfires.
njbowhntr
Re: CZ VARMINT .22 RIFLES Aj had mentioned the .17 HMR. If you go to www.varmintal.com you can read a review that he wrote about the CZ 452 Varmint in .17HMR. http://www.varmintal.com/17hmr.htm
hangunnr
Re: CZ VARMINT .22 RIFLES I've got 2 CZ rimfire guns. One is a 452 .22mag and the other is a 452 .22lr varmint. The varmint is very accurate. It'll group Eley Tenex into one bullet hole at 25yds. The only down fall with the CZ's is the crappy trigger they come with. A little stoning and a different spring will cure this though. hangunnr
