Adjam5
We are on our 3rd replacement Wildview 5 Extreme. Does that tell ya anything? We have had bad experiences with it here in the NY cold winters. It does not function in the cold below freezing. It could be a bit better with battery life consumption, but the pics it takes are good quality. Get rechargeable c batteries for it, the most cost effective way to control waste and always have batteries. Trigger time is OK also. It is a inexpensive trail cam that can work in the right situations. They have a OK replacement policy, but it takes a while to get the cam back. OHBucks
I have been using one and it's been pretty good and it takes good pictures. I would recommend it for the price I don't think you can really beat it.
clrj3514
I got two of the 1.3mp cams and i love them. Cheap and great pics!
Tom2008
Get a Moultrie D40 for $99.99. 4.0 Mega pixel, great battery life, and reliable. Not too much money for a great camera. I've also had a lot of trouble with Wildviews. Many customer complaints.
PotashRLS
Hey Andy..........check out the thread I started. I got a couple sites to check out and they were quite helpful. I really like the ScoutGuard model. It is very reasonable for an IR camera. http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87876
Jorden
My opinion is dont bother with them. The picture quality is not bad but thats about all the good things I have to say about them. Had a 2 different models that didnt work and like Adam said they do not work very well in the cold. We finally said screw it and went back to cuddeback. You cant beat them in my opinion. That Moultrie that Tom mentioned sounds like a good one for the money as well.
