Quacker-Wacker
Im in the market for some new arrows and can't make up my mind. Have not purchased arrows in quite a few years and don't know much about these two. Any opinions? These will be used for mostly hunting. Thanks! ThethirdI
You would be hard pressed to strip me away from my aluminum shafts just because I'm old fashioned. However, that being said I have shot both of them quite a bit to see how I liked them and although the Axis arrows are expensive you wouldn't have to ask me twice to switch to them. I have heard only good reviews about those shafts and they fly awesome no matter what type of fletching they're wearing.
redkneck
I'm shooting Axis shafts and they have proven to be straight and tuff. Cant speak for the others.

Flintlock1776
I went to a new bow and switched to Carbon Arrows by Carbon Express. They are OK. Seems the exact type I use has been discontinued so I'll see what the Pro Shop guy recommends as a replacement. mathews4life
switched to Easton Axis last yr. Matter of fact i bought them off of RT. I love em! Would highly recommend them! I've shot ACC's, epics, and carbon express and i like the axis the best. Hear lots of good things about GoldTips too
woolybear
I shot an Axis ST tipped with a 100 gr Muzzy into a cynder block wall. The shaft remained in tact other than loosing the broadhead and insert and I'd bet I could have replaced that and took that arrow hunting that year.(total penetration) They are a quality shaft. I've also had a hit buck snap one in two on a death run, but I guess it didn't matter at that point. Tip to knock, one tough arra that stands up to direct bone contact without blinking an eye. KANSAN
I've shot both of them. They're both great arrows, you can't go wrong with either one. I'm shooting Easton Axis Nano's right now and love them.
preacherman
I actually have a dozen of both. Love them both as well. Both are great arrows and are tough. You won't go wrong with either.

StrictlyWhitetails
Arrows I just switched to Beman ICS Elite and really like the performance so far. Tighter groups and faster then my previous vapor arrows. I also like the smooth finish. www.strictlywhitetails.com
TREESTANDSNYPER
I actually have a dozen of both. Love them both as well. Both are great arrows and are tough. You won't go wrong with either. Same here, both are great arrows and I don't think you would be dissapointed either way. The Eastons are cheaper than the CX Maxima's though, and on that note I'd give the nod to the Easton Axis Nano's.
Widgeon
I have shot just about everything available, and for hunting I am a big ST Axis fan now. Tough as nails, great penetration and good bang for the buck.
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
I shot the Axis for a few years, then about 2 years ago I switched to goldtip XT's. The oldtips are a great arrow, but I will more than likely be switching back to the Axis this year. I have no experience with the Maximas, but I hear they are a good arrow.
