muggs
It's a sad day in the Muggsbow household. My all-time favorite hockey player is finally retiring- as the active career leader in points no less. Sakic's truly been one of the most under rated and under appreciated all-time greats and has always been a class act. Sorry to see him go. buckbuster11
He's nothing without Forsberg. :laser:
Muff
Joe was one of the greats.....in a way I am glad to see him go because he was holding one of the training camp spots for team Canada for this winter....like I said Joe was one of the greats but I hope team Canada goes young for these games and not the old boys club that they took to the last ones. muggs
He's nothing without Forsberg. :laser: Considering they hardly played on the same line, you're an idiot. Actually, maybe you are right out of those 1600+ career points, I think Peter assisted on 1599 of them.:hammer1:

Heavy Metal
so what I mean? Under appreciated...IMO, Sakic is the greatest "Class Act" in NHL history. A real champion and a great person. Although....I will always think mostly bad things towards him for ALL THE FREAKIN' SNIPING HE DID TO THE SHARKS OVER THE YEARS!!! !@#@!# !@#!@$!@#:bang: Also, probably THE most dangerous wrist shot in the NHL through all the 90's at LEAST. That guy had a laser.
muggs
Also, probably THE most dangerous wrist shot in the NHL through all the 90's at LEAST. That guy had a laser. I'd say it's the best ever. That thing was ridiculous. That's the definition of sniper and I can't really think of anyone with that quick of a release and that type of velocity. Brett Hull maybe...but I don't think so.
NS whitetail
he sure is one heck of a hockey player and will be missed.

Hull's mastery was the one time slapper from the side circle. Sakic had the TWISTED WRISTER!!!!!!:gun2:
