Slash
I no longer build the RAGE broadheads for a living, I'm now building houses and it's way better. RAGE was a cool job but the pay wasn't great, I'm making way more money now and having a lot more fun in the sun swinging a hammer all day. The real reason I started this thread is to say....66 days til opening day and I couldn't be more excited, everywhere I go I'm looking for bucks and I've seen a couple around the jobsite and have heard of a few hangin around the land I'll be huntin on. I'm feelin pretty good about getting my first buck this year with my Martin bow. How is it looking for everybody else? Seen any bucks that could be big bruisers? What are some annual pre-season preperations some of you have to get ready for the killing season? Well, have a good day everybody. ps. I'll still be using the RAGE 2 blade to "put 'em down":boxing:
redkneck
Glad to hear you got a better job, but your old one did sound pretty cool. Of course it only sounds cool to us bowhunters, not the guy sitting there putting together his 156,000th one, lmbo. I'm going to put out my trail cam Friday. I should have already been doing more, but this summer heat has gotten me out of the mood for doing much of anything in the woods. Check out the photo room or bowhunting room and I think you'll see some guys with a promising bow season.
camoman1
Wow only 66 days left till it opens here in WI??! Dang I better start gettin my stands moved.. A minor set back for me already this year, I just dropped my bow off at a local pro shop to get it fixed. I guess the new strings are only supposed to last 3 weeks:mad:...not really the strings fault, my guess is the knucklehead who set-up my bow put a knick in it and I didnt notice it:hammer2:. Yeah, take a look in the photography room, lots of nice lookin critters in there so far including a few from my camera....Cant wait for Sept!!! Slash
Thanks Shaun. Indeed you better get them stands moved, I plan on doing that tomorrow if not then this weekend. and good luck with your bow, that's a bummer. I definitely need to get new strings on mine before the season starts, should probably do that pretty soon huh?
