Strut10
Berries are in season, now. Hard to find, though, because of the late May freeze. But I found me 15 lbs. of them and currently have about 2 gallons of blueberry/sugar slop in my basement awaiting tomorrow's yeasting. The eventual finished product should be about 5 gallons of blueberry wine. Yum!!

Strut10
Now this has my undivided attention... It sounds really good... My first attempt at blueberry wine (made last year) has been playing to rave reviews...........if I do have to say so myself. Problem is.......... I didn't make anywheres near enough of it. RangerClay
I love making blueberry wine! :wine:It's one of my favorites. If you get caught short, you can get 10 pound bags of blueberries at Sams Club. They are excellent berries and make great wine. Plus having been frozen you will get better juice extraction. That is how I got a jump on the blueberry wine making season this year.

I'm kinda leary about posting recipes on this forum due to the ease of anyone (minors included) to make hooch. Yeah.....I know you can get stuff like that a thousand other places on the net. Just not from me here.
