I just dont understand why the Game wardens just dont shoot them. wtnhunt Posted July 12, 2009 Report Share Posted July 12, 2009 Hope they catch or trap that gator, a 4 footer can be pretty nasty. Had a somewhat similar situation here about 5 years back, had a gator under a bridge up the road about 2 miles away from us. Couple teenage boys called the twra and the person they spoke with there supposedly told them it was ok to shoot it, so they did. Later on the wildlife folks tried to pass it off as a cayman, but now they have acknowledged that there are gators in lakes in the Memphis area and that gators are making their way north up the MS river.
