plannerman
Have a 2006 Honda Rubicon with 26, yes 26 miles on it. Gently used is an understatement. Anyone have an idea on what it's worth? Located in MN and trying to determine value as several are asking if it's for sale. Guess no sense keeping it if I average less than 10 miles a year! deerhunter10
I would try and kelly blue book it or something to that sort. I went ahead and ran it for you and got this: 2006 Honda TRX500FA Rubicon 500 Value July 13, 2009 1-Cylinders 4-Stroke 499cc Suggested Retail Value $4585 The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the unit has been fully reconditioned and is in excellent condition. Mileage/condition and additional equipment may have a substantial impact on the value shown above. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the unit's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. You can do it again though because your results may be different than mine. You can also use NADA to find the value.
Jeramie
Good luck with the value though! The values around here have TANKED. We are in farm/ ranch country so they are actually very popular. Still, people have very little to spend on stuff like that. Right now you can pick up a good used quad for literally $2k. If you really want to get big and expensive it may run as much as 3k - 3500! Orion_70
I've been looking in this area for a good used quad. Looks like most are going for Kelly blue book prices close to the trade in value. Around here you have to be very careful of what you get though as a lot are used for mud machines. You can sink one quick around most places. hutchies
I've had my 400EX for sale for a year or so.............market is so far down that guys think I'm gonna give it to them. I decided a couple months ago to just keep it. I paid dang near $6000 for it 5 years ago. It's been sitting for 3 years..............I've rode it twice since I put a new batter on it a year ago and it's time for a new batt again..........It's been paid off for 3 years so I'm gonna keep it. Ive driven to surrounding states to save money. Sometimes you can cross the border and save loads. I saved over $2500 on a boat by driving to Texas (about 6 hours one way). Orion_70
I'll definitely take a road trip to save a few if the price is right!

Jeramie
Sorry! Hopefully the market will turn for them soon. At the same time you may have a look at neighboring states and see if they market is any better, then again it might not be bad in your area. I could call the local dealer and see what they say.
