I've even offered to buy some and donate them to the WMA, but we can't do that until there's more habitat for em...I usually at least hear on everyday..I still can't wait for the day when I see multiple coveys... redkneck Posted July 17, 2009 Report Share Posted July 17, 2009 We have a few around but dont see them like you used to. I used to love to whistle them up. Nowadays quail hunting in this state has been reduced to some bird farms. Some even have remote controlled bird throwers that launch them into the air because pen raised birds dont like to fly.
