hyperflow
Your better to spend your money on a good choke tube vs more expensive shells and your factory choke tube. Kicks high flyers and Pattern master are the ones to pick from. Personaly i use kicks high flyer, there amazing the diffrence over your factory chokes. jesse8953
One of the duck hunters I will be going with, has a pattern master and likes it.
hyperflow
Really its whatever u can get a better deal on. Personaly i think kicks are better, but if you ask my buddy pattern master is better. I find the kicks works better with a wider range of ammo Personaly i shoot cheap shells for pond ducks, with a mod kicks choke tube (all the ducks in the picture we;re killed with a 6 dollar box of shells. Open water ducks i turn to 3" challenger shells (i personaly think there the best priced shell on the market) and a kicks Extra full choke, i have no trouble reaching out and touching ducks at 60-70 yards. Geese i use 3 or 3.5 challenger with my kicks MOD choke. Here in canada the geese havn;t been shot at 5 million times so there very decoy frendly and land right in your face. bluelund79
I like the black cloud shells while goose hunting. DO NOT use any of the wad stripping chokes with those shells! You won;t like the end result. I use mostly the 3" BB's and 2's. They patterned well with a Lt Mod remington choke out to 45 yards. They tend to make a mess of ducks in the dekes though, so I stick to cheaper shells for that. Black Clouds are nice shells, but you have to fins what your gun likes best. I have to use my 870 SuperMag and Lt Mod choke until I shoot the last 1/2 case I have left since my 1187 and 3 different choke combos aren't as great as other shell/choke combos... nastynissan4487
A friend of mine swears by the black cloud ammunition on geese and ducks as well. We are probobly gunna give it a shot this season I would imagine, also as far as the chokes go, the group I hunt with shoots both patternmaster and kicks high flyer. From the looks of the dead ducks every season, I dont think you can go wrong with either one of them..
coles
the stuff has worked amazing for me. I think patternmaster even developed a choketube to be coupled with black cloud shells specifically. I might be wrong about that though. For some reason i think i remember seeing that somewhere. Black Cloud around here isnt that much more expensive than regular steel shot. Maybe 5 bucks more a box. I love the stuff. Buy a box and take it on your next hunt. I believe you will notice a difference
