  • 3 weeks later...

My summer started off by finding out my boyfriend, Andy (Slash on the forums), and I are expecting our first baby at the end of December/beginning of January, so I have been very busy getting things lined up for that. We find out next Tuesday if it's a boy or a girl :) I'm going to be 20 weeks this coming Saturday so I'm halfway done now! The baby is kicking and eats like a truck driver, but I've only gained six pounds. Other than appointments and all that jazz, I've been working all summer at a nice AmericInn hotel about twenty minutes from my house doing front desk as well as working in the bar/lounge area in the water park we have inside the hotel. Then exactly two weeks from today, I start classes again at Northern Michigan University and I'm in my junior year now so I am extremely happy that I'm almost done! And as for thinking about hunting season, I can't wait! Andy and I just went buck watching last night and I saw a beautiful ten point buck that I am pretty excited to meet with my 7mm .08 :) I'll be almost nine months pregnant by the time rifle season gets here but I don't care, I'm still going!

Congrats on the baby. Sounds like you have had a busy summer. Don't worry about hunting while pregnant. I did it and never had any problems, well, except for my hunting clothes being a little tight....lol. Let us know when you find out what you are having.
