Dakota
Up here, the Monster seems to be preferred over the Reezen or Hyperlite from what I've seen. When I was out at the range yesterday I noticed that of the six of us shooting the outdoor range three of us were shooting Monsters, one a Drenalin LD, one a Switchback LD and another an Alphamax. At the range I go to, if you have a new Mathews you're shooting either a Drenalin, DXT or Monster or even a Mission Eliminator. I have yet to see a Reezen or Hyperlite on the range yet. Is this a regional thing? At the local pro shop they don't even carry the Hyperlite: their Mathews section consists of 5 Monsters, 3 Reezens, a DXT and Drenalin and 2 Mission Eliminators as well as a few used bows hanging on different racks. If you want a good selection of Reezens or want to even see a Hyperlite you have to go to Scheels. Soooo...I'm getting away from my original topic a bit...:D:D How many of us shoot Monsters? As of last week Thursday I do! Love that thing to death! :D:D Also, do you think the Monster XLR8 will have good reception once it is released? What with a 5" brace height. Double Drops
I had a Monster for a few weeks & just never could get comfortable & accurate with it. I traded for a Reezen 7.0 and couldn't be happier.
JKAPP01
dakota, i am from se south dakota too, and i don't know anyone shooting the monster. only the reezen. i have a switchback, and will probably wait for a couple years to get a new one....too comfortable with this to change. but any mathews is worthy. we all know that
tedicast
A bunch of guys in my club bought Monsters. Every one of them is now shooting something else. Most either Reezen 6.5's, or Alpha Max 35's. I shot the Monster and hated it. Definitely not the bow for me. Speed isn't everything. I'll take shootability over speed every time. I'm a member over at Archery Outfitters in Sioux Falls. They're selling more Monsters than Reezens over there. I guess I haven't had a problem with my Monster yet and everybody I've talked with at the range really like theirs. Dakota
