Maybe you got a reject, because Lacrosse makes the best in my opinion. I like the alpha burley.
RangerClay
ive used lacrosse burly but they split at the sole after two seasons. what is the best insulated rubber hunting boot on the market? Mine didn't hold up either. I don't believe they are made for folks who do a lot of walking. More like made for people who walk a half mile and sit in a tree stand all day. I bought these last year for ice fishing and they worked really well during deer season. I like that you can tie off the tops to keep the snow out and the scent in. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/swamp-boots-by-baffin.aspx?a=467770 Here is another good link, http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/browse/mens-footwear-rubber-boots.aspx?c=11&s=
wtnhunt
My wife and oldest daughter each have a pair of cabelas scent free rubber boots, and they both like them. My daughter is pretty hard on shoes/boots and hers were still like new when she outgrew them. They talk highly enough of theirs that the cabelas brand is what I ordered for myself. Adjam5
Wow...I am surprised to hear about a bad LaCrosse product. I get such use of my Alpha Burly Lite, I don't think I'll buy another boot for a long time. But as Joe said, check the sportmans guide, they have some great prices on good gear. But you gotta know your stuff.

'my girlfriend has the cabelas 800 gram thinsulate women's camo boot. only complaint is they are not very tall so if you hunt somewhere swampy, they aren't for you. bluelund79
Sorry to hear about your LaCrosse boots. Did you try to contact the company. I love both pairs of my rubber LaCrosses. I have both 1000gram and uninsulated and won't use another brand. Even use their leather boots as well and I mean use them....
