hazardiz
Hey...just bought the new Marlin 45/70 1895 guide gun in stainless with lam and well when I cycle a round in, the tail end of the shell does slide up enough into the extractor on the bolt and the case binds on the breach of the chamber...i have tried different ammunition also...anyone have any ideas...? i could take pics for better visualization... hazardiz
so i've been investigating more and it seems that the lifter falls away to soon and therefore the shell gets met by the bolt at an angle and can't slide up the lifter...anyone else got this rifle? Strut10
Sounds like a timing problem in the action. I'd take it back where you got it or call Marlin ASAP. Should be something one or the other of them should deal with.
