Which Scope???

This would be better in the shotgun room. There are several good shotgun scopes out there. Really depends on what you want to spend. Have heard good things about nikon shotgun scopes.

It sound like a variable would be your best bet. You certainly don't need a 6 or 9x power for turks, but would be great for deer. I suggest a 2-7, or a 3-9 power.

You can use it in the lowest power for close shots on turkeys, and still be able to crank it up higher for deer that are farther away. I like Nikon scopes, and have 4 of them . You would still have to sight them in depending on what the purpose is. Bird shot will

be completely different than slugs. 1 scope means you sight it in for turkeys, then re-sight it in for slugs for deer.

If your shooting rifled slugs I would go with a Niko Pro Staf fixed 4X32. You don't need to be able to see him blink from 100 yards to hit him. If you are using a different barel I might go up to a 3X9.
