Shaun_300
Dave, Mackenzie and I headed out on the Ottawa River tonight to do a little fishing. Gorgeous night despite the bit of wind. We caught a few walleyes, channel cats and perch. Nothing enormous but still fun to catch. Every fish Dave and I got on our rods we let Mackenzie reel in. Dave and Mackenzie with a walleye! Me holding a channel cat, Mackenzie was scared of getting stung, as you can see. :D Me with a dinky walleye. Captain Dave Couple sunset pics, what a beautiful night out on the water. Geography lesson for the day, in the last pic, skyline on the left is Ontario and skyline on the right is Quebec.

woolybear
I don't know what's skinnier, the walleye's.. or Capt Daves eyes lol. J/K:clown: We have done several Quebec trips over the years, even to remote fly in lakes. The scenery, peacefullness, and the hospitality of the lodges staff is what kept us coming back over and over. Only remember ever catching a 13lb pike and a 7lb LM that ever made the fish worth the trip. Other than that the experience of getting to camp through hundreds of miles of dirt roads, crossing wooden bridges, wildlife seen 'en route, shorelunch with the fam, and good old camp fun when the boats were docked made every trip one to remember. You're doing a great job with the young'ns man! Keep it up!
GWSmith
Hey Shaun...Your hands are hiding the treble hooks on this Muskie lure are they not? I have Rapalas that big:clown: Nice pic's and that wind probably kept the blackflys down a bit too:cool:
Shaun_300
LOL Gary.... Like I said he was a dinky one! I always like to see the little ones too though, means they're reproducing well. We're seeing a lot less channel cats too, which is probably helping the walleye population too.
