WhiteSmoke
Primers I've used CCI primers for years now...#11's, musket caps and 209M's...and never had a problem.
Tecumseh
Plain old Winchester 209 primer never had a problem with them.
Heavy Metal
I've used Remmingtons and won't again as I had allot of missfires over two seasons. And I'm currently half way through a box of Winchesters and haven't had a glitch yet. Although I also switched to loose powder last season as apposed to cubes which I also used with the Remmingtons the previous two years. So the cubes are just as much to blame I'm sure. fly
Winchester. I've only used about 40 of them and so far and one misfire (which is too many for me). I'll be switching to CCI next time.
Double Drops
I tried a few out with my Triumph & 777's and the one with the least amount of fouling were the Remington Clean Bore's. I'm still using them with great results.
papadz
First year with my OMEGA, but using Federal. Seems to be working out just fine.

Jeramie
I like the CCI but have also been using Remington Cleanbore.
jokostel
CCi 209M or the Ferderal 209A.... Black Powder and Black Powder substitutes are so volitile, it simply doesn't matter the ignition source. It could be a wick and a magifying glass, and the POI would be the same. wtnhunt
Have only tried winchester primers. Went back to the remington #11 percussion caps here.
lil hunter
I shoot the Federal 209A primers. In my gun (remington 700ml) I started out shooting colder primers. I think the Winchesters. I would literally hear a pop-boom everytime I shot. I switched to the hotter Federal Primers, and its just boom. The colder primers for some reason took a split second to ignite the powder in my gun. I don't remember if I was using loose powder, or pellets at that time. I currently shoot loose powder though, and it works great. Most guns the primer doesn't make a huge difference. Many people prefer the colder primers because they typically leave less of a crud ring in your barrel. Some people claim the colder primers can be more accurate too, which is why many people convert back to the old #11's and such.
dlriggins
cci has never let me down but I dont know that one is better than another as long as you buy a quality brand
GWSmith
Lil, I think you may have the primers confused a bit. There is a difference though in the Winchester Primers that simply say "209 shotshell primers"... and the one like in this article(209M)... http://www.chuckhawks.com/winchester_777_primers.htm
