Casey
Go out and shoot all the bows you can get your hands on. Decide on how the bow feels in your hand, if it feels awkward, then that bow isn't for you. Don't settle on a bow because of its hype. tedicast
In my opinion, the AlphaMax 35 is the cream of the crop for 2009. I've shot most of the new bows, and I don't think there is one that holds a candle to the AM35. And yes, this is from a Mathews shooter. That being said, the only person that can decide on which bow is best for you is YOU. Go out and shoot some bows, amd base your decision on that. 92xj
:clown: Why would you buy a lefted handed bow if you are right handed? Even if its on a deal its not going to work for you. On topic.... I would say, Hoyt AM or TH or if your not looking for that kind of money go take a look at a reflex.
Dakota
I'd say either the Monster, Reezen or Hyperlite, but don't pass up a chance to shoot any of the Mission line of bows. I'd recommend either the Eliminator or the Journey from Mission. I had a Journey and absolutely loved it, but I shot the Monster and just couldn't go back. So, at $450 I figured the Journey would be a lot easier to afford again than a a main-line Mathews and sold the Journey to help afford the Monster. In a few months, perhaps a year, I'll buy another one for a back up bow. Good luck! Dakota
Stone Cold
I went from my old PSE Fire Flight Express to a Bowtech Pro 38. I dont think they make the Pro 38 any longer but I really like it. It is fast and quiet. I will not go to any other brand. I have been sold on Bowtech!
hyperflow
I live in the middle of noplace, I can;t just go and shoot any bow. So i have to go on ppls reviews of bows and go from that. I havn;t shot anything but a crossbow for the last 14 years, so for how a bow feels to be honest i wouldn;t even be able to tell if it felt akward. I been shooting a left handed bow and it felt fine to me
carolinakidd
I shot every bow I could find last year, and I settled with the Mathews DXT. It was the one that fit me best. It was light, fast, smooth, quiet, and very mobile in a treestand. Many people don't like a shorter bow,but I do. I've owned the Allegiance, and General.I haven't lost a thing in my accuracy, and I've gained a lot more in comfort. When I can kill multiple deer and hogs from 40+ yards,(and they go less than 30 yards),I can say that the combination of my DXT,Easton, and Rage is the right one for me.JMO!! hyperflow
Actualy shooting a left handed bow felt fine, The strings we;re right in my arm so there was no way i could get wacked by the bow string. Plus it would put my arm in the exact same postion every time. So that was kinda nice. Apart from that its pretty much exactly the same, Just your looking at the other side of the bow in your peep. I was almost thinking of geting another lefty just for that reason.
Rhino
Actualy shooting a left handed bow felt fine Actually I know of hunters that are right handed but bowhunt left handed and also hunt with their firearms left handed too. It's not really as unusual as some may think. For some it's an eye dominance issue while with others it's just personal preference. After all Phil Mickelson is right handed and plays golf left handed.

After all Phil Mickelson is right handed and plays golf left handed. Alot of that may be due to which one is their dominant eye. I say shoot a bunch and see what YOU like best. I love my DXT, and HATE the Alphamax.

Even tho I'm right hand dominate, I do allot of things in my daily schedule left handed without realizing it most times ..
