fly
How many and what type of deer do you predict you will harvest with the bow this season? I'll go with 2 does and 1 buck. A 10 point that grosses 150 inches.
Dakota
Hoping for at least one doe and a decent buck. I'm having a hard time lining up private land to hunt here and may have to start the season out on public land close to home. Dakota

hunter109
well all i am going to say is i am going to try to fill all my tags with a whitetail deer
woolybear
2 doe would be a safe bet. Betting the farm on a predicted buck would be a gamble.
sskybnd
im going to say im going to kill 1 doe and 1 buck, have a 4 deer limit but, seeing i killed 3 last year and still have a little meat left, so i'l kill the first doe i can and than im going to wait this year for a nice buck. Randy
I may kill a doe, I will probably let the bucks all walk this year unless the Alphamax is begging deflate one... I have a couple people coming this fall to hunt that I would rather shoot the few big bucks we have around, I've killed enough in my life... Tominator
Tough to predict this year. Looks as if I'm going to lose a good part of October, maybe not. Not really sure. I'll say I hope to tag at least 2 does and have a shot on at least a Poper.
Zambo
I would like to shoot a couple does for the freezer. If I shoot a buck points and score really don't matter as long as he is mature. But as you know predicting a mature buck is like predicting what Brett Farve will do.
Tony
nope im not getting lured into this one. its best just to say i should have some shot opportunities. Tony
ruttinbuc
I'll take it as it comes. Was never into the prediction thing. Been hunting too long to know that there are no gimme's. In all truthfulness I am disappointed in what deer hunting has become.

It's just for fun and something to do prior to the start of the season. I doubt I'll actually harvest a 150 inch deer..... (more like 180). layin on the smackdown
I'll probably drill 4 or 5 does, and hopefully get a chance or two at a 150 + buck. I can never have enought venison bacon burger or jerky sticks...
Stone Cold
I will shoot for 3 antlerless and two bucks that I have pictures of! Here they are! Mr. 12 Point that now should be bigger due to finding his sheds! Mr. High Tower will be the second target!
Straight Shooter
I'll predict that you guys will know what I kill when I kill it. I try not to full with Karma, it can be your own worst enemy.:clown:

Stone Cold
Karma? Maybe, but that is why we set goals! I have always felt that you should shoot for a goal in all that you do. That is why I said "I will shoot for...". I do not want to give myself bad luck but that is why the good lord leads us to where we should be in out life! It is just greatful to enjoy the outdoors. That is even if you dont kill anything. Those years really bite and thank god I have only had two of those out of 11 years of hunting. It is always good to look towards the upcoming season with hope of nailing a big buck. My disappointment comes from what they have done in the commercialization of deer hunting. The heritage of bowhunting is lost in the numbers every way you look at it. It has become all about the money.

Well since I've blown my karma I may as well up the ante to a 200 inch typical this year.:flex:
Jorden
As every year I am hoping for my first bow buck. Hopefully I can at least get one doe and I will be happy. Dont get to hunt much being away at school most of the fall so a doe will do just fine but I'm always hoping for Mr. Big:D

There is a difference between setting a goal and telling everyone what your going to do. kar·ma (kär'mə) n. Hinduism & Buddhism The total effect of a person's actions and conduct during the successive phases of the person's existence, regarded as determining the person's destiny. pre·dic·tion (prĭ-dĭk'shən) n. 1. The act of predicting. 2. Something foretold or predicted; a prophecy. goal (gōl) n. The purpose toward which an endeavor is directed; an objective. I have a goal of killing 10 Does this season and at least two bucks over 100 inches, but I will not say that I will kill this many deer. The big goose egg does bite a big one. It's been quit a few seasons since that has happened but it is a kick in the gut when it does happen. Every minute I can sit in the woods is a minute of greatness, enjoyment, and relaxation. redkneck
This thread is getting too educational..... Barring anything unforseen, I'll take a few does and hopefully get a shot on a mature buck, that's about all I'll hope for and that would make for a satisfying bow season. Rhino
This thread is getting too educational..... Ditto. My pre·dic·tion (prĭ-dĭk'shən) for my bowhunting this year is, I'll kill a doe here in MS and anything else I kill while bowhunting other than that will be gravy. I hope to have some close encounters with big mature bucks in IL & KS. I'll also get at least one big buck in Iowa...on camera that is. I'm just going with a buddy to video his bowhunt there.
