olsplittoe
Indian Chief 'Two Eagles' was asked by a white government official, 'You have observed the white man for 90 years. You've seen his wars and his technological advances. You've seen his progress, and the damage he's done.' The Chief nodded in agreement. The official continued, 'Considering all these events, in your opinion, where did the white man go wrong?' The Chief stared at the government official for over a minute and then calmly replied. 'When white man find land, Indians running it, no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water. Women did all the work, Medicine man free. Indian man spend all day hunting and fishingThen the chief leaned back and smiled. 'Only white man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that.' GWSmith
Just above your join date in the upper right of each post is an "Exclamation Mark" next to the post #. Click on it and report the thread and walk away. No reason to get yourself worked up over it. Not everyone knows what the common practices(Netiquette) are on every forum. If this person has made a thread introducing him/herself I'd like to read it.

snapper
Ummm...maybe this person doesn't have alot of posts...but been reg. since Aug. '08. None of the threads are against any rules that I seen...heck there have been alot of people come in here and reply to every thread with one word comments to boost their thread count. At least these threads have some substance (laughter). You have the option not to read the threads if it bothers you that much. I see no reason for a ban...no rules broken that I'm aware of. BowJoe
If you don't visit the forum a lot before the contest and you've been a member for almost a year, then that's exactly the reason they put a limit on minimum posts. Because you most likely will follow the same pattern after you enter the contest and not post until next year. Don't run up your post count just to enter a contest. It's not fair to enter it, become a part of a team and them never hear from you until next year when it's time to enter again. I think the contest should be for members with at least 500 posts and eliminate this problem of flyby members that don't really care about the forums, just the competition for bragging rights. Not saying you shouldn't be a member of the forums but be a member for the right reasons.

Well perhaps you haven't considered that I may be visiting alot of sites and haven't posted here for a reason. I'm not going to try and justify my pattern. But just know that if I do get into the contest I will put out just as much effort as I can to be the best team player as time will allow. I think all of these sites are great for gathering info and making friends. But it looks like condemnation is the norm around here from a select few. Sorry if I don't fit your idea of perfect, but I'm not here to fit your idea of perfection or meet your expectations. I would like to think that a guy could get a welcome and a little support from others with the same intrest, but thats life. All this aside I look forward to talking to and becoming friends with anyone and eveyone, even those I don't agree with. Personaly I don't care for all the drama that has taken place over a few post that were ment to entertain others.

I just found it interesting that all these different posts were quite random and pointless...plus I had never found an occassion to use the :ban: smilie! :D:D As long as you participate in the community and not just post random things to boost your count that's fine by me. olsplittoe
Thank you to all the fore posting members, I look forward to posting some of my past hunts and other insight gathered in my hunting quest as well as gathering info from you all. I also look forward to punching some holes in some deer this year. As far as teams go I think I can be an asset to any that would have a good shooter. Last year I took 4 that I harvested, and 2 that were lost to bad weather, heavy rain, no blood beyond the POI.
