unioncountyslayer
I know this is old news, with the Home Run Derby and all last year. Most everyone at least knows a part of his story, but I gotta say, after reading his book last week, I'm an even bigger fan of Josh. It just goes to show, that every once-in-awhile, 2nd, 3rd and sometimes 4th chances are worth taking on people when they finally have their heads screwed on right and are doing what they are doing for something bigger than the game. Whether you believe in God or not, this is a great read, and story about a man's mistakes and redemption. And I'm not much of a reader, so for me to read the whole book cover-to-cover in 2 nights is saying something. Another cool thing was when I was talking about the book with my wife, she actually knew Josh's wife back in High School. Small world.
