gobblerroller
I've noticed that there are absolutely no threads in here! C'mon people, youth are our sports' future. All you Dad's and Granddad's should be on here posting your kids' trophies. Why not let them get on here and post to other hunters just like them? coles
he shot it with a wildcat called the 7mm-300wheatherby. 300 wthby case necked down to 7mm. Loaded with 160gr nosler accubonds. I have no idea why it pulled guts out the other side like that. I shot my cow this last season with 180 gr accubonds and it didnt do anything like that. lol

rhine16
Here's some of my little bro. He turns 8 Saturday. This year will be his third year of hunting.... Many would say he is waaaay too young and it most cases I would agree; however, this one is different. He can shoulder his rifle and shotgun, loads and unloads them, and most of all, he knows what he's doing. He's a great hunting partner to have. Shooting bows with me... 6 at the time http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62423 First deer... My girlfriend's first is also in that post http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=65892 Little intro to a hunt I thought was worth posting http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68506 First buck last year... Age 7. Our cousin is also in this thread with his first deer... Was a great youth weekend http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79580 2nd buck last year.... I was behind the camera on this one http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80656

wtnhunt
Good pics there Coles. Don't know how many youth members we have here now. Seems a lot of em are growing up fast and are really not youths anymore. My oldest daughter is a member here and she posts some. Would imagine a lot of kids are outside with summer activities, may in part explain the slow activity here in this particular room.

Dakota
2006 Wyoming elk, a good 6x6 and my first bull. My first duck hunt. (2007) Dad and I with my first antelope, a doe in northwestern SD. Fall 2007 Dad and I with my two antelope, including my first buck, mid-morning opening day 2008. I shot both of them within 20 minutes of first light at fifty yards and should've filled my third tag but got excited and missed the next seven shots! :D:D :gun2: First turkey, a hermaphrodite (hen head, jake body size, mature gobbler tail fan, small beard, bumps for spurs and leveled wing tips typical of a strutter), shot in the Black Hills of Wyoming on a hunt with Jim Zumbo in April 2009. Yes, I'm 19 but I look 12 so do I count? :D:D Dakota
