Re: Recurve/LongBow?

Ryan, the best thing you can do is to shoot as many differant kinds of bows that you can get your hands on-both recurves and longbows. Some of the custom bowyers have a "try before you buy" deal. Also eBay is a decent place to pick up used bows but be careful if you don't know what you're looking for-you can get burned on a piece of junk bow. Here's a link to most of the top bowyers and a traditional classifieds(this is a great sight!).

Re: Recurve/LongBow?

if you want to get into longbows and not spend a ton of money go with one of dan quillians longbows. i sure like mine and it;s a 45 lber and it's a smooth and very easy to shoot bow and i am using it this fall for a deer hunt my first with a traditional bow

good luck

if you notice the nocking point is kind of high .. it slipped up and i had to reset it..
