MichiganHunter
I dont listen to music, but I take a few no sound cheap hand held games along with me, got a solitary and a poker game. Kills the boring times during mid day.
Heavy Metal
Oh yeah.....I love listening to heavy music while in the tree stand. I generally don't in the early mornings which is the most active around my stand. But afternoons I almost always have my iPod on. Also, snowing/freezing cold conditions REQUIRE listening to some good death metal or viking metal!!! Sacrificium, Immortal Souls, Holy Blood, Impending Doom, Crimson Moonlight.....keeps the blood flowing!
jesse8953
I turn the radio off in the truck when I pull on the road that the woods is on.Don't know why I listen to the sound of a stone road for 1/2 mile before I get parked. Then just listen to nature for me.Sonetimes I have heard deer before I see deer.

Chrud
Not while bow hunting. However, if I'm in an enclosed blind/tower during gun hunting, I will after the first weekend. The first weekend I'm on full alert. After that, things are usually much slower, so I listen to music or read a magazine.
