wtnhunt
Will be going on my first ever out of state hunt this year, first ever hunt away from the backyard. Early November bowhunt in Wisconsin with Randy. I had an offer from Frank to go and hunt with him this fall, but unfortunately we will have to postpone that trip until next year. That makes the plans in the works for next year (2010-2011 season) for two possible/potential trips, but will have to see how the funds dept look as that time draws nearer. GWSmith
I'll be going to West Virginia to hunt ThanksGiving Week with my Father. We've been going there since 1998. He drives up from Florida and I'll drive over from central New York. We'll meet the weekend before the rifle opener on monday and set stands. It's the hunt we will move mountains to make happen. danthehuntinman
I'm going to Ohio to bowhunt this year. I have muzzleloader hunted out there a couple of times haven't got anything there didn't see anything big enough for me. The biggest one I saw was about a 130 class 10 point. He should be a big one this year cause everyone else let him go. Good luck with all of your out of state hunts hope you get a big one. Rhino
Heading to Illinois on Oct. 23rd for a week bowhunting with a friend of mine on private leased land. Then get a few days rest before heading to Iowa with another friend of mine on Nov. 4th. It's a do it yourself hunt on private land. He drew a tag and I didn't but I'll be behind the camera filming his bowhunt. After Iowa I get a couple of days or so to regroup before heading to Kansas on Nov. 17th for a week's worth of do it yourself bowhunting there on private land. After all that I'll have a rest and regroup period before the MS late prerut period starts cranking up.
nemodeerhuntersneighbor
Unfortunately not. I applied for an Iowa archery tag and got denied for the 3rd year in a row. In the end I'm not to upset about it, considering how late our harvest is going to be and my wife and I are expecting our first child at the end of november. I was stressing out wondering if I would have the time.
