BuckNrut
Needed to get a prescription filled tonight and I've never had trouble in the past - just walking in and picking it up. But tonight they would not hand it over without an insurance card. Okay, fine. But to close (lock up) the doors 10-minutes early when they knew I was coming back and needed the medicine - well, let's just say they be getting anymore of my business! I have zero tolerance when it comes to my childrens' health, and have no problem telling the whole world about it!:chair:
bluelund79
Wow, what a crock. Time to call higher, especially with the closing early part. Kids health is nothing to mess around with...Hope you children have a speedy recovery.
Strut10
Sounds like a pointed phone call to Rite-Aid corporate headquarters is in order.

Doe-ee
Closing early when they knew you were coming back?! That is certainly no way to do business, especially where a child may be affected. Our closest pharmacy (where I work) screwed up Steve's medication once so I made it clear to the manager that we would be getting all of our prescriptions filled at another store. We're talking a lot of medication here. Enough for a mortgage payment every month. They have since assured me that they have new "safeguards" in place but I don't trust them anymore. A complaint to the right person can go a long way. Hope your little one is feeling better.
Rayzorp
I feel the same way about my son, hope your children are doing good, I would have went back the next day and screamed at the manager in front of the customers. Like you, when it comes to my son's health, zero tolerance for BS like that
