muggs
I have a acrobat reader file saved, I need to edit the text and it won't let me. Is there anyway I can either save this file into word or anything else that will allow me to edit the content??

Shaun_300
Re: computer help needed try saving it as a microsoft word document, then edit it, then save that as a pdf file.
buckbuster11
Re: computer help needed It could be a read only file too....right click on the file whereever you have it saved...and go to properties...on the bottom there is a box that says "read only"....make sure there isnt a check mark in that box...and you should be able to edit it. muggs
Re: computer help needed so far I exported it into wordpad and then copied and pasted it inot word, but it really messed up the format. Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: computer help needed You can't edit it unless you have the full version of Adobe Acrobat (about $300). The free version you download is a viewer only.
HarvDog
Re: computer help needed Full version is needed. A workaround would be to highlight the text and start a new Word document.
Tominator
Re: computer help needed [ QUOTE ] I exported it into wordpad and then copied and pasted it inot word, [/ QUOTE ] Do this again, but when you open it into word, open the document as "Recover Text from any file" What you have will be about the best way to open it without buying the full boat Adobe.
