fisherguy
Re: South Texas Monster I think it looks very fake. looks like a bunch of tines were added. I would love to be wrong, but it looks too odd.
robk
Re: South Texas Monster fisherguy i saw one down in southwest texas that was close to that size and inclduing had more points than i could count it was so heavy. we tried to guess him out but he looked like a main frame 14 point and almost a 26 to 30 inch inside spread had points in places you wouldn't believe looked like one of thos long teeth sout american fish i think they call them a tiger fish. this was a live animal and we were looking at him and were amazed so even though that looks like a painting the way the tines are but there are some big deer down there that will blow your mind rob k
fisherguy
Re: South Texas Monster I know theres big deer there, but this one just looks like some of teh tines are way too thin and pointy. ANd if you look close a few seem to grow out of nowhere.

Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: South Texas Monster If it was photoshopped, I apologize. I didn't alter anything and the person who sent it to me is usually pretty reliable. I looked at it several times and I couldn't see anything that I could definitely point to as a fake. Chrud
Re: South Texas Monster It's hard to tell, but I say Photoshop too. I think it would grace the cover of EVERY outdoor magazine if it were real.
Turkeygirl
Re: South Texas Monster It seems way to out of proportion for the deer, lol. If you look at the main beam but the drop tine, it looks like part of an antler was added/connected.
