question about new smaller cut rage

They aren't out for sale yet. You may be able to order them from the Rage broadhead website.

Just some added information if you didn't know. If you are shooting above the suggested line for the 40 KE rage then you shouldn't use them. They are made for lower poundage bows only and shorter draw lenghts. Shooting them out of a higher poundage set-up may cause them to open before impact.

WOW i didnt know that i am shooting 67lbs at 29". i have only shot one doe with my rage but it was at 10yds about 20' high behind the shoulder broadside and no pass through. the tip was bent at a 90 angle and the blades looked like the were serrated, but the blood trail just from the entry was unbielievable. thought maybe i hit a few ribs at the same time and that smaller diameter would be great. thanks a ton for the info!!

Try the 3 blade out if you are worried about penetration. With the 3 blade having more cutting surface it will get better penetration.

i just got an email from Rage saying i could replace my original blades with the 40KE blades, but it didnt mention anything about the kinetic energy curve thats in the graph above.

My information on not being able to shoot them with a higher poundage was only heard by friends. I would shoot them another e-mail just to make sure.
