DocMort
I just got a new bow, Diamond ICEMAN, and I will be Shooting my old bow, PSE Triton The problem is I can't seem to get my muzzy 4 blades to fly like they used to. I want to go to some mechanicals to try with 2 inch blazers. Any body got any ideas?
hungry hunter
I was told that my bow set up with 5" radical helicals and wisker biskit would not tune with the MX4, I tuned it up with Muzzy 3 blades out to 40 yards, now FP, Muzzy 3 and 4 blade all hit identical. redkneck
Well, guys in here know waaaaay more than me on the subject of tuning, but to me if a BH dont fly straight, your kicking. Sounds like you need to paper tune. If you want to see what your bow's doing, shoot an arrow without fletchings. You'll really see if she's flying true then. dlriggins
it sounds as though either your rest or knock is out of alignment
RangerClay
Expandables you say??? I am trying out this year the new Epek-XC-3. They fly just like field tips. But what is even better is that you can lock the blades in place so it does not open. I can practice with the same broadhead I will be hunting with and I don't have to resharpen it. Check this out, http://epekhunting.com/videos.html Click on the second video down.
TREESTANDSNYPER
I'd have to say either you need to re-tune your bow, or concentrate on better shooting form. Possibly you are torquing the bow and the issue is being shown more when you switch to broadheads.
fly
If you do change to mechanical 2 blade I hear good things about the Rage and from experience I use the Gator XP. Used the original Gator for years, the Gator XP is even better. http://bowhunting.net/NewProducts/2004/Barry-GaterXP.html I was going to link you to Bass Pro since the gator XP is a Bass Pro exclussive, but guess what... They no longer carry it! Looks like you can still order them from... http://www.rockymtbroadheads.com/broadhead_order.html Edited August 19, 2009 by fly
