Rem308
Sorry to see this happen, hopefully your accident can save a few of us from doing the same. I need to inspect my new arrows, will in a little bit. Heal up and get back to shooting, season is not too far off.

MCH
I've seen arrows blow up and go through people's hands but this is the first time I've seen it cause the string to strawberry the arm. Glad it wasn't any worse, Jeramie.

Tink
Sorry Where you wearing an arm guard? It helps of the string hits yoru arm to make a better shot than a miss DID you have an STS ON It helps protect the arm. Sorry bet it smart Witch hazel on it for about 8 hours will take take much of the soreness Soak a wash rag in it and keep it wet while you watch TV ice cubes inthe wash cloth helps too Also take 2 ALEVE every 4 hours TINK
dbHunterNY
You've made me nervous now. I'm sure it could happen with brand. I shoot Goldtips, so I'll have to check my arrows too. Definitely get it looked at and hope it heals quickly. - Dan
Jeramie
Sorry Where you wearing an arm guard? Sorry bet it smart Witch hazel on it for about 8 hours will take take much of the soreness Soak a wash rag in it and keep it wet while you watch TV ice cubes inthe wash cloth helps too Also take 2 ALEVE every 4 hours TINK I use to wear an arm guard but quit years ago. However, before I can bring myself to fling another arrow I have to have one. I couldnt stand another hit on that same arm right now..... woolybear
Jumping in this one a little late so hopefully your all healed up by now or at least doing alot better. Sure could have been alot worse. This link to another site I visit is a little graphic but this fella will tell you the importance of inspecting your shafts often. You guys still shooting multiple arrows at one spot should take special note of these warning threads. http://www.huntstrategies.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1863
Jeramie
Im going to try and update a pic today. My entire arm is black, blue, and yellow now. Its from my elbow to my watch. Its SORE...... To tell you all the truth im whimping a little. Im afraid to shoot until this thing heals. Its so raw right now that another hard slap would be horrible!
