MNhunterr
I wish I would have found my 9 point before it was rotted. We followed the blood trail for so long and just lost him... Jumped him numerous times and everything. It started to rain and we lost his trail. Found him 2 weeks later about 50 yards away from our location in some thick thick willows. Got the Euro mount though . Nice deer.

Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Whats your new regs?? One buck rule?? If so it's helped out here in Indiana/ Here in michigan we have different options for our tags. THere is the archery tag, the firearm tag, and a combo tag. With an archery tag or firearm tag, you could shoot any buck, with both. This is still in place for the rest of the state. The new regs for the upper peninsula say that with these two, you can only shoot one buck total (3 inch tine or longer), meaning if you shoot a buck in archery season, you cannot take another buck in firearm season, your buck hunting is done. Now with the combo tag, in the rest of the state, you have the regular tag, which allows you to shoot any size buck, again 3 inch tine or longer on one side. and the other tag is is a restricted tag, which means you can only use it for a buck with 4 or more points on one side. Both tags can also be used to take doe's in archery season. Now with the new regs, the combo has different meaning in the U.P. The restricted tag stays the same, but the regular tag is now a restricted tag as well, you can only shoot a buck with 3 or more points on one side. I hope I explained that good enough, lol.:hammer1:
