layin on the smackdown
I shoot the switchback XT and that sucker is a dream...I've had her since she hit the market, and i don't plan on even test shooting another bow for another 2 years at least. I did trade in the XT for the drenalin when it came out but that was short lived, as i couldn't shoot that bow consistently to save my life, so i traded it back in for the XT... Switchback29A1
I'm still rocking the original switchback, and still can't be happier. I shot my friends hyperlight a few days ago and i wasnt 'that' impressed. If Mathews hasn't come out with something that suits my eye a little better in the next few years, my next bow will be a Hoyt. Lol it almost hurt to say that... arrow32
Whitetail22 what big problems are they having. I've shot both and know lots of guys that do with zero problems. Funny all you do is start posts to start crap........... :hammer1::sleep1: I agree. I'm one of the biggest hoyt guys around but the two bows shoot and they shoot good. I don't really like the draw on the monster but other than that it shoots. Know people with both and people are coming in the shop looking to buy them every day. bighoytman
Mathews bows?? Well Mathew addressed this issue already but on Monster grove wasn't deep enough in cam.If you torqued string side ways enough with bad form string came off cam. There has been a couple issues with string snapping.Bearing going bad in cam.But most problems have been delt with by Mathews already. TREESTANDSNYPER
I shot Mathews bows for many years, but until they start putting decent strings on their bows and start getting their cams to measure the correct draw length (my past 3 Mathews bows measured 3/4"-1" long) they can keep their bows. Chrud
Whitetail22 what big problems are they having. I've shot both and know lots of guys that do with zero problems. Me too. The only "problem" I've noticed with either the Reezen or the Monster is they magnify a persons form flaws. I shot both, really liked both, but decided to use my Switchback again this year. TREESTANDSNYPER
1 problem with the Reezen is the soft rubber on the string suppressors, I've heard a ton of complaints about this issue. String either tearing them up in a matter of 50 shots, or jumping past the suppressor completely. They have come out with a harder compound for the suppressors, but nonetheless still an issue that alot of guys have had to deal with. And Mathews is covering this under warranty, so anyone with these bows doesn't have to pay for the new supressors
