OHBucks
Back on July 3rd I checked my trail cam and I had pictures of 3 different bucks one really decent one, one following it which looks to be really nice from a distance and a smaller one. In the past month or so I have gotten a ton of different pictures of fawns, does, and this smaller 7 point. The two bigger ones have stayed away. Do you think it could be because of the really warm weather they haven't really shown up and maybe towards September they will start appearing again? Now mind you there is a ton of food around so they could be using different paths to and from the food plots right now. I don't really see a reason why they would just leave the area. layin on the smackdown
There could be countless reasons as to why you are not getting any pics of them...One way to increase your odds is to put out several cams around the farm...If after a while you still don't get any pics of any of them, i'd say you may have a problem. As for now, keep your head up. Who knows, they could have walked on the opposite side of your camera 20 times and you wouldn't know it... OHBucks
The property is 180 acres. The field I am setup on was wheat at the time I first got the pics. Since it has been plowed and now there are oats comming up. There is also sweet corn along with soybeans. I have an idea of the bedding area. I took 2 deer out of there last season but I am trying to stay away from my stand area until the season starts. I was thinking about putting out another camera. The more I think about it the more i think thats what I am going to do. Thanks alot for the input.
